Slavermaw Squish vs Friend Request: What's the Difference?

Quick Answer

If you want a larger, more substantial squish toy with more surface area, choose the Slavermaw Squish; if you prefer a compact, portable option, the Friend Request is your pick.

Size and Portability Trade-Off

The Slavermaw Squish comes in two sizes, offering flexibility depending on how much squish you want. Larger squishes provide more material to squeeze, which can be satisfying for stress relief, but they take up more space on a desk or shelf.

The Friend Request, on the other hand, is a single-size squish that is easier to carry around or tuck into a bag. If you need a squish toy that travels with you, the Friend Request is the more practical choice.

Firmness and Feel

Firmness affects how the squish feels in your hand. Softer silicone yields more easily, which can be soothing for gentle squeezing, while firmer silicone provides more resistance for a deeper press.

Both the Slavermaw Squish and Friend Request offer firmness options, but the available choices may differ. Check the product listings to see which firmness suits your preference.

If you're new to silicone squish toys, a softer firmness is often more forgiving and comfortable for extended use.

Price and Value

The Slavermaw Squish is priced at $25.00 (compare at $16.00), while the Friend Request is $16.00 (compare at $25.00). Wait, that seems reversed—let's double-check: The Slavermaw Squish is $16.00 (compare at $25.00), and the Friend Request is $25.00 (compare at $16.00). Actually, the catalog shows the Slavermaw Squish at $16.00 with a compare-at price of $25.00, and the Friend Request is listed at $25.00 with a compare-at price of $16.00. That suggests the Friend Request is the higher-priced item, likely due to its larger size or additional features.

Consider your budget: if you want a lower upfront cost, the Slavermaw Squish is more affordable. If you're willing to invest more, the Friend Request may offer more value in terms of size or detail.
